Time Slips and Warps

What is a Time Slip? A time slip is an alleged paranormal phenomenon in which a person, or group of people, travel through time through supernatural (rather than technological) means. As with all paranormal phenomena, the objective reality of such experiences is disputed.

Have you ever experienced a time slip? Do they really exist? Here are some stories from Wikipedia.com.

A widely-publicized case from October 1979, described in the ITV television series Strange But True?, concerned the Simpsons and the Gisbys, two English married couples driving through France en route to a holiday in Spain. They claimed to have stayed overnight at a curiously old-fashioned hotel and decided to break their return journey at the same hotel but were unable to find it. Photographs taken during their stay, which were in the middle of a roll of film, were missing, even from the negative strips, when the pictures were developed.

In the 1980's Rick Stratton, a television crew technician in his twenties, and a friend rented a cottage deep in the New England countryside. The secluded house was built by Moravian settlers in the 1800's. He enjoyed living there for several weeks and experienced nothing out of the usual. One night he walked into the kitchen to get a drink. When stepped into the doorway, he was immediately shocked. The kitchen had completely changed. The entire room appeared "old fashioned". But the strangest of all, a man sat at the table eating and a woman stood over the sink. They were both dressed in antiqued garb. The old man and woman looked at Rick and their eyes popped open like they had seen a ghost. Rick stared at them for several seconds, each person speachless. Then, they vanished and the kitchen was back to normal.
Thank you to Joshua P. Warren for writing this story in his book "How to Hunt Ghosts".

Could the Bermuda Triangle possibly be a time warp? What happens to all the ships and planes that are lost and never found again? Where did they go?
Think about it and let me know what you think!

  1. Very interesting, what's you opinion? Is it plausible? Are they just wackjobs?

With what's being done on scientific fronts, this may be something much more frequent in the years ahead.
